Turtle
A funny creature
Minding its own business
A wonderful teacher
With its adventurousness
This guy wandered the beach
Chasing you down
Like a leech
Just moving around
The turtle came for food
To each group of people
What a begging dude
As long as food was accessible
I gave it salad
From my picnic lunch
The turtle was delighted
With impromptu brunch
After it’s meal
The turtle moved on
Looking out for a new deal
Shopping like on Amazon
Coco Beach
The first thing poops in my mind
I Dream of Jeannie
A sit com comedy enshrined
About a beautiful genie
Now I live close
It is more about the beaches
And rocket launch shows
Plus the marinas
My sailboat is docked here
In Cape Canaveral Port
So close to the rocket roar
Sights and sounds to take to heart
It is where we go to the beach
Not far to roam
Easy to reach
So close to home
Great place to ride bicycles
We have a nice circuit
As long as we avoid vehicles
A tourist orbit
Chasing their cruise ships
Cars and buses rushing around
People heading on trips
They are hellbound
To go on vacation
But Cocoa Beach is my place
My fixation
A holiday to chase and embrace
I have many amenities
All in this one city
Including many memories
But most the beaches are pretty
I’m very happy. I’m very grateful for the things that are given to me. I am grateful to God for letting me choose him and live as close as I can to Jesus. No way perfect but I’m trying. Blessings!
