Snow Snow is beautiful It is so calm and reassuring In the right places it's plentiful And it can be alluring Snow holds memories From my youth Adding to my life histories And until I am long in the tooth Snowman Snow fights Snow angels Snow slushies The games change Along come acquaintances Friends interchange And so do the experiences Ski Sleigh rides Snowboarding Snowmobiling All part of the journey The journey of life A grand tourney Marching to the drum and fife

Mans Best Friend
Mans Best Friend You can never love An animal as much as a dog They fit as a glove In lifes dialogue Koa Bear Keeper Sally Sue Marvelous sidekicks A family member Pure or mix I will remember Koa on the sailboat Or protecting you from a snake A thick coarse coat His death was a heartbreak Bear a friendly Carin My first dog as my own A lord or baron I was never alone Keeper was extraordinary She was a true friend Always merry Until the end Sally Sue was the best So gentle and kind Welcoming me as a guest Our time together was fine She sailed And we walked Even as our health failed Our love was locked A companion for the ages Accompanying me through life I could write pages She was like an oldwife Persistent as my assistant So loving and caring She was so consistent And reassuring Life moved on In a regular routine A beautiful liaison She was a queen I will miss her And her beauty Life will be a blur Without any duty Walking Feeding Swimming Chasing A wonderful responsibility To take care of her In her final disability We could not deter Life ends for us all Sooner or later We all fall To death the dictator Not giving us a choice Or remedies Taking our voice Leaving just memories
Words or Change
Words or Change A poor writer Making pennies A nail biter No reflection of my abilities Easy to pick up coins To buy a cup of coffee Crouching through my groins A simple activity Between two fingers Pinching the coinage Showing my butt to admirers Just wanting a beverage But writing is hard Taking much energy Pick and discard Much synergy Creating rhyme Or paragraphs To make a dime And a few laughs It is the same pay Picking up coins or writing I am not eating from the buffet PB and crackers is exciting The life I have chosen To entertain and savor No riches or acclamation But one I favor
International Readers
International Readers I am an international writer People from the globe Making my life brighter Let us seek and probe India Great Britain Canada Australia Germany and the United States Have read my poems or books I have great global mates All taking precious looks At my travel journal And my poems and novel A sense of fraternal Not submitting to grovel These people have bought And spent money to read Something I have taught Feelings I want to feed I am humbled and proud And enthusiastic and delighted To entertain a crowd For things I have copyrighted There will be more I modestly dare say Not to annoy or bore But to make someones day
Atrocities
Mankind is inhuman and cruel We do not listen and obey The earth is a precious jewel And we have thrown it away Murders abound Since the time of Cain and Abel Just look around And watch your cable Every single day Someone is slain People do as they may Causing so much pain Watch the same news And war is widespread Always a lit burning fuse So many massacred and dead Add in disease And more are extinguished Buckling us to our knees No one is distinguished Disease will find you Where ever you may be Covid or the flu You can not hide or flee At least your alive Living a life of plenty Just look at the archive Many lives are not worth a penny Some are malnourished Some are exploited Some are enslaved Some are aborted They are existing For a period of time Most are not resisting It is not a crime Abortion is legal To kill a child But not an eagle Abortion needs to be reviled How about the famished Throughout the globe Their needs have vanished As we launch space probes Spending billions To go into space Wasting trillions For a space race Race to where Race to make the cut Race to be fair Race to what What is a human life worth How much do we spend To save all humans on earth Will this neglect ever end Why do we not realize This is not what God intended Can you not hear the cries Are you not offended
